The deadline to submit for the 2008 Constructech Hottest Companies Awards has passed. Constructech's Hottest Companies Awards are open to technology, building automation, or automated home technology vendors with an innovative product that targets either the commercial or residential construction industry.
Each year, participating companies are judged by the Constructech editorial staff based on a range of criteria, including description of product/service, significant accomplishments in the past year, growth record for the past three years, noteworthy customer wins, and new products impacting the marketplace. A select group of entries will be chosen as a Company to Watch. The editors believe these companies are on the verge of becoming one of Constructech's Hottest Companies, yet need to demonstrate a bit more. This is the result of either changing focus in the market or taking on a new direction with products, among other factors. A special category, Up & Comers, honors companies in the market less than three years. This award recognizes companies catering to the construction marketplace less than three years that are developing innovative products, landing significant customer wins, and are on a steady pace of growth. Winners will be separated by residential and commercial construction and be highlighted in the respective issues. In instances where a technology product serves both segments of the market, these products will be featured in both issues. Past Winners
