The deadline to submit for the 2008 Vision Awards has passed.

The Constructech Vision Awards honor companies that have realized the advantages of applying modern technologies to their everyday businesses. Winners are recognized during a dinner and awards ceremony.

The competition is open to companies involved in the following areas:

  • residential construction
  • commercial and heavy construction
  • subcontractors in all trades
  • architectural and engineering firms
  • corporate owners
  • facility management companies
  • government agencies
  • land developers

In addition to honoring builders and contractors, Constructech magazine will also recognize the hardware and software suppliers that have enabled your company to achieve its goals. If you win, so do the hardware and software companies that provided the technology solutions that helped you achieve your goals.

The Automated Home Technology Award honors homebuilders that have used products such as audio/video, security, lighting, and home theater, among others, as a competitive advantage. Entries will be judged on the benefits the builder has achieved by offering these products to homebuyers through a design center/model home and the value added to the overall profitability of the company.

The Team Award goes to a project team that has experienced considerable success with using leading-edge technology specifically on one single project or program. The New Urban Builders, Generation Homes, and Skanska USA Building are among previous winners of this prestigious award.
