Manufacturer of the Year Awards The deadline to submit for the 2008 Manufacturer of the Year Awards has passed. Please consider submitting for the START-IT Top 50 Technologies award. The winners of the Manufacturer of the Year Awards are announced during the T&B Awards Dinner and Ceremony. The ceremony will be held June 24, 2008 at the Westin Chicago North Shore Hotel in Wheeling, Ill., just outside of Chicago. Please click here to register.
The Manufacturer of the Year award singles out manufacturing companies that illustrate excellence. Recipients are contributing significantly to the overall well-being of the economy and to the manufacturing industry as a whole. These manufacturers have demonstrated how they are embracing today’s challenges and overcoming hurdles to remain competitive. Qualifying manufacturers hold a proven track record in job growth, improved corporate revenues, and capitol investments. They also illustrate a strong commitment to their workforce and community, including volunteer programs, environmental programs, and educational partnerships, just to name a few. This prestigious award honors only one manufacturer each in the small, medium, and large market segments. These companies have demonstrated they are successful in all facets of running a business, including helping the economy, its employees, and so much more. These winning companies have discovered new and unique ways to compete in a highly complex marketplace. START-IT editors and a panel of judges in the manufacturing industry select the winner for each category. A dinner and awards ceremony is held to honor the recipients as well as to recognize several qualifying finalists in each market segment. This ceremony will be held in June. |
